I'm finally getting to do a Lipstick review!
If there is one thing you should know about me, its that I love wearing lipstick and of course that means buying them too. After my recent purchase of my Tarte Pallet, I quickly wanted to try their lipsticks as well.
I wasn't at all sure what colour I wanted. All I knew is that I wanted one after hearing my friend say that they are super hydrating. So I went to my local Sephora and picked one out.

Tarte
Amazonian Butter Lipstick- Watermelon $19
My lipstick collection consists of very vibrant and deep colours. I don't think I had a pink like this or a pink at all in my collection. As soon as I applied the lipstick I was AMAZED at how hydrating and silky this lipstick is. It literally glides on your lips and leaves a great finish. If you have dry lips, have no fear because no one will see those dry chapped lip lines with this lipstick on!
The packaging is adorable. What woman doesn't like cute make packaging? I am one who is a sucker for anything that is adorably packaged. The packaging is NOT plastic. If you are one of those people who leave your lipsticks at the bottom of your napsack, purse or keep them in your back pocket I would be careful with this as the packaging is paper. Nice thick paper but paper nonetheless.

The colour is absolutely stunning and so pink! It really does remind me of watermelon candy. It lasted about 6 hours on my lips. However it was no match for my coffee at lunch. I would happily purchase another one of these lipsticks again just because of how gorgeous the colours are and how hydrating it is on my lips. Canadian winters are harsh so a nice lipstick or balm is always needed.
